BEFORE CHECKING
[ ] Confirm the actual final version and client delivery requirements.
[ ] Preserve originals and work only with footage you may process.
[ ] Confirm supported codec/format; unsupported analysis is not a pass.
[ ] Pair the correct optional UTF-8 SRT and required cover by basename.

IN CUTCHECK
[ ] Run Full check; read coverage, errors, skipped and stale statuses.
[ ] Review black/quiet intervals in context; they may be intentional.
[ ] Inspect decode errors, audio measurements and SRT timing findings.
[ ] Correct in your editor; replace both video and subtitles when needed.
[ ] Recheck the new files; review new/persisting/resolved findings.
[ ] Export HTML or JSON and confirm it represents the current files.

HUMAN REVIEW — NOT GUARANTEED BY CUTCHECK
[ ] Watch the full export; verify story, sync, text, names and facts.
[ ] Check subtitle meaning, spelling, graphics, client revisions and rights.
[ ] Inspect the thumbnail image; CutCheck checks cover presence only.
[ ] Confirm the intended final filenames and delivery/upload destination.
[ ] Check the processed platform result and any platform-specific checks.
