CutCheck includes separate FFmpeg and ffprobe executables from FFmpeg 9.0.2 (https://ffmpeg.org), licensed under LGPL 2.1 or later. CutCheck communicates through child processes; its own code is not linked to FFmpeg libraries. This build enables neither GPL nor nonfree components and has no third-party library dependency. Complete corresponding unmodified source, its verified release signature, license texts, config.h, config.mak and the build script are included here. To rebuild: install Apple's Command Line Tools, Node.js 22+, and make; in the CutCheck source checkout run npm ci, then npm run media:build. The script contains the exact configure and make commands and uses OpenPGP.js to check the release signature. Alternatively extract the supplied archive, run ./configure with the arguments in manifest.json, then make -j8. No source patches are applied. FFmpeg contributors retain ownership of their code. You may modify and redistribute FFmpeg under the included licenses. There is no restriction on reverse engineering needed to exercise those rights.
